Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Post-Wise)
- Draftsman (Civil) [Item Nos. 93 & 94]:
- Two (2) years Draftsman Training Course Certificate or Diploma in Civil from any Government-recognized Institute.
- Works Supervisor [Item Nos. 95 & 96]:
- Matriculation (10th) Examination Pass or its equivalent from a recognized Institute/University.
- AND an ITI Certificate in Building Construction or Carpentry Trade.
- Note: The ITI Certificate must be issued/awarded by the J&K Board of Technical Education (JKBOTE) or the Director General Trainings, Government of India.
Domicile Requirement
- Candidates must be Domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before 30.08.2026.

Selection Process
Selection for all advertised posts (Draftsman Civil and Works Supervisor) will be based solely on merit:
- Written Examination (Objective/OMR): Multiple-choice questions set in the English language only.
- Negative marking: 0.25 (1/4th) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates based on written exam merit will be called to verify original certificates, including academic/technical qualifications, domicile, and category certificates.
