TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026. The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has published Notification Rc No. 189/Rect./Rect.-2/2026 (dated 29th July 2026) inviting online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to 7,112 vacancies.

This recruitment drive includes posts for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables in Civil, AR, and SAR CPL cadres, Constables in the Special Protection Force (SPF), Fire Fighters in the Fire & Emergency Services Department, and Warders in the Prisons and Correctional Services Department. Eligibility Criteria for the TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

• General Requirement (Post Code Nos. 21-23, 25-28): Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination recognized by the Telangana State Government as on 29th July 2026.
• Technical Qualification (Post Code No. 26 – Fire Fighter): Candidates must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License as on the date of notification (29th July 2026).

Age Limit (Reckoned as on 1st July 2026)

(Note: As per GO Ms No. 87 dated 18-05-2026, a 5-year upper age relaxation has been granted for uniformed services in addition to standard limits):

• General Candidates: Must have attained 18 Years and must not have attained 27 Years (Base limit 22 years + 5 years relaxation).
• Home Guards: Must have attained 18 Years and must not have attained 45 Years (Base limit 40 years + 5 years relaxation; min 360 days service required).
• SC, ST, BCs, and EWS Candidates: 5 Years upper age relaxation.
• Telangana State Govt Employees: Length of regular service up to a maximum of 5 Years.
• Ex-Servicemen / NCC Instructors: 3 Years in addition to the length of service rendered.
• Widows, Divorced & Separated Women: SC/ST: Up to 45 Years | Others: Up to 40 Years (Inclusive of 5-year uniform relaxation).

Physical Standards for the TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026

Height Standards:

• Men (Post Code Nos. 21 to 23, 25 to 27): Minimum 167.6 cm.
• Women (Post Code Nos. 21, 22, 25, 26, 28): Minimum 152.5 cm.
• ST & Aboriginal Tribes in Agency Areas: Men: Minimum 160 cm | Women: Minimum 150 cm.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Events:

1. Run Event (1600m / 800m):
   • Men: 1600 meters run in maximum 7 Minutes 15 Seconds (Ex-Servicemen: 9 Minutes 30 Seconds).
   • Women: 800 meters run in maximum 5 Minutes 20 Seconds.
2. Long Jump & Shot Put:
   • Long Jump: Men (General): 4.00 meters | Men (Ex-Servicemen): 3.50 meters | Women: 2.50 meters.
   • Shot Put (7.26 Kg for Men / 4 Kg for Women): Men: 6.00 meters | Women: 4.00 meters.

Application Fee & Payment Mode

• OC and BC Candidates (Local to Telangana): Designated fee per application (as shown in the online application).
• SC and ST Candidates (Local to Telangana): Concessional fee.
• Rebate for Multiple Posts: A fee rebate of ₹50 (for local SC/ST) or ₹100 (for other candidates) per additional post applied for across TSLPRB notifications within 3 months.
• Payment Mode: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or any available online mode on the TSLPRB portal.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following consecutive stages:

1. Preliminary Written Test (PWT):
   • Single paper of 3 hours duration consisting of 200 Objective Questions for 200 Marks.
   • Minimum qualifying marks: 30% for OC/EWS, 25% for BC, and 20% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Home Guards.
   • Negative marking of 20% (0.20 marks) applies for wrong answers.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
   • 1600m / 800m run followed by height measurement, Long Jump, and Shot Put.
   • RFID bibs and digital measuring equipment are used for automated tracking.
3. Final Written Examination (FWE):
   • One paper of 3 hours duration.
   • Maximum Marks: 200 Marks for Post Codes 21, 26, 27, 28 | 100 Marks for Post Codes 22, 23, 25.
   • Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for OC/EWS, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.
4. Certificate Verification & Medical Examination: Final merit-based verification of original certificates, antecedents, and medical fitness.

How to Apply

2. Register using your personal Mobile Number as the User ID.
3. Select the Notification(s) and Post(s) you wish to apply for based on your eligibility.
4. Pay the required application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
5. Fill out Part-I of the Online Application Form and upload a soft copy of your recent Passport-size Photograph with Specimen Signature (combined image in JPG format, 30 KB to 100 KB).
6. Submit the Part-I form and download the PDF acknowledgment.
7. Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test (PWT) will log in again to fill Part-II of the Application Form and upload required certificates.
